In the oldest manuscripts numbers are in full spelling, i.e.: hexakosioi hexèkonta hex
this seems NOT to be the case, as the found ones are the letter for numbers, dont they? if it were spelled out this confusion
would have never arisen

If 6 is a number of human completeness, three 6s would make sense. In any case, we would have to assume that 616 is an aberration until there is more evidence to the contrary. Whoever first used 616 may have wanted to force Emperor Caligula into the picture.
the thing is that it was not three 6's but a greek number for 6 a different one for 60 or perhaps 10 and another for 600, which dont have the same visual appeal in greek at all.... so it cannot be related to 3 -6's as it never was that.

almost instinctively we begin seeking self- assessment from others, we start measuring our self-worth on how others view us... become split minded and unconsciously seeing ourself from an alein point of view... religion does not cause this, they takes advantage of our natural tendancy in this regard...
JWs, are probably not unique in doing this, but they seem to hit it harder than others.... they are constantly presenting the ideal JW, who is supposedly modelled on Jesus...as the goal and standard of measure.... guarenteeing a feeling of some inadequacy...this causes an emotional gap...which is filled by the overwhelming forgiveness promised by the sacrifice of Jesus...for some.
but JWs are good at cracking the whip to remind the faithful that they are undeserving of this kindness and while they dont have to earn it, they will be rejected if they show that they dont appreciate it.... which always sounded suspiciously the same to me.
then they tell you that if you are truly a child of god, the motivation will arise in your heart...and that makes you feel even more guilty when it doesn't...and filled with anxiety and worry.

one thing many dont think of is that 666 is an anomoly in english and has no resemblance in the greek letters
which look more like X3S [looks a bit like sex backwards?]

Can anybody help explain this to me? I'm just so tired of hearing about people dying. I know you cannot escape it, but...I'm just tired of it. It is so emotionally draining.its this backwards inside out way of looking at life which allows religions to ensnare their hapless prey...
there is no meaning OF life but only meaning found by the living.... what is the value of your life to you after its over? if your death is the finale, then the ending of it means only something to those left behind, not you.
but they want you to look at your life as if you were dead but still around to judge yourself.... for what purpose? only to serve them, not you.
meaning is what you find as you live your life.

Selfishness is interesting, are you selfish when you do things to save your eternal life? are you selfish when you become religious because you fear death?
it seems that they hook you with selfishness, pretending its all about saving your soul...but then they turn around and blame you for being selfish and make you feel bad if you are not self-sacrificing, which is another term for suicidal, no?
